ABOUT ME

Chris was born in Berlin, Germany, studied architecture at TU-Berlin (Berlin Institute of Technology) and designed family homes until 2012 when he began a new adventurous chapter in his life by emigrating to the other side of the globe. While waiting for his Australian permanent residency visa, he started travelling extensively in South-East Asia/Oceania and fell in love with photography.

A year after settling down in Brisbane, he changed his profession to follow his passion. Chris sees photography not only as an incredible way to preserve and share memories but also as a great outlet for his creativity and drive to produce images that spark emotions.

He is still as excited about taking “The Perfect Shot” as he was back then when capturing his first full moon image in Chiang Mai, Thailand and a close-up shot of the eye of an Eastern Water Dragon on a university campus in Queensland, Australia, using his cherished $500.00 Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ150 travel camera.
